Last week,held the Regional Conference of the International Trade Union of Construction and Forestry Workers (BWI) and the European Regional Committee in Adana, Turkey.

Representatives of trade unions of forestry and construction workers from different countries attended the conference.
At the opening session of the conference, BWI
Secretary-General Ambeth Yusuf briefed on the work done by the Union of Construction
and Forestry Employers and the main purpose of the conference. Later, representatives
of influential international trade union organizations heard the speeches. The event brought together
European experience, shared their experiences, discussed a strategic business
plan, and discussed the situation of immigrants in Europe.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Republican
Committee of Natural Resources and Ecology Workers' Trade Union Telman Guliyev
spoke about the situation of migrants who moved to Europe, including one
million refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh, and said that Azerbaijan was the most
vulnerable in the world one of the countries. The double standard does not
allow us to liberate our occupied territories from our enemies for 25 years.
Discussions were held around the speeches and a strategic
business plan was adopted for the next years. On the last day of the event, the
participants visited Syrian refugees for a temporary shelter camp in the city
of Sichin and familiarized with their living conditions.
