About of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation
Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation was
established on 5-6 February, 1993 at the Congress of Azerbaijan Trade Unions.
Trade Union is a voluntary union protecting socio-economical rights and
interests of its members which incorporates the Autonomous Republic of
Nakhchivan and 26 Sectorial trade unions. Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation
covers 16135 trade union organizations and approximately 1121946 members.
The law of Azerbaijan Republic on "Trade
Union» was adapted on 24 February, 1994

Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation is a
member of International Trade Unions Confederation since 2000. Chairman of
Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sattar Mehbaliyev is
vice-chairman of International Trade Unions Confederation since 2014 and
vice-chairman of Pan European Regional Council since December, 2015. Azerbaijan
Trade Unions Confederation together with
government and entrepreneurs associations are represented in International Labor Organization since 1992.The first Congress was held in
1998, the second in 2003, the third in 2008 ,the fourth in 2013 and the fifth in 2018.

Egypt, Japan, Bulgaria, NIS countries, Chine and trade union centers of 70
countries.
