The 30th anniversary of the tragedy of 20th January

Thousands of people have today visited the Alley of Martyrs to bury their dead in the name of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and freedom.
Residents
of the capital, who have come to the alley for 30 years, make sweatshirts in
front of the martyrs' tombs, and honor the memory of the heroic homeland children
who died in the tragedy of 20th
January.
On the
same day, members of the Azerbaijani Trade Unions also visited the grave of the
victims of the January 20 tragedy at the Alley of Martyrs and honored their
memories.
Let's
note that 30 years have passed since the night of January 19 - 20, 1990. 30
years ago, Soviet troops, deployed on Freedom Square and on the streets of the
capital, committed massacres in Baku by sending their weapons and heavy
machinery against civilians and civilians.
