ATUC Chairman Sattar Mohbaliyev meets with veterans of Karabakh war and invalids

On December 2, the chairman of the ATUC, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, in the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, met with veterans of the Karabakh war and invalids on the eve of International Disability Day.

participants and their families on the occasion of this remarkable day.
According to him, President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban
Aliyeva have shown great respect and care for war veterans and families of
martyrs, and concrete measures are being taken to improve their living
conditions and social welfare. The work done in recent years, the reforms in
the military sphere, the increase in our military strength, victories in
political and battlefields inspire and strengthen us. Both economic and
military power are on our side. The military training and provision of our army
is at a high level. We have the most modern weapons and equipment. Thanks to
the attention of the President, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed
Forces, Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani Army has been one of the leading places
in the world in recent years in terms of combat capabilities, logistics, and
modern weapons and ammunition.
The chairman
of the ATUC said the Karabakh war veterans and the disabled were always in the
spotlight of the ATUC. He also noted regular meetings with them, special
attention to the solution of their problems, steps taken towards rest and
organization of treatment. Participants of the meeting highly appreciated the
social protection measures taken in our country and important steps taken to improve
the welfare of vulnerable groups. They expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice
President Mehriban Aliyeva for their attention and care.
In the end, all participants of the
meeting were provided with financial aid on the occasion of the holiday.
