Financial assistances were rendered to the families of the martyrs of January 20 at the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation

Although 26 years has passed since the bloody events of January 20, 1990, the people of Azerbaijan never forget their heroic sons and daughters.
On the same date according to the instructions of former Soviet leadership murdered civilian population entering into the capital of our republic. Every year trade unions organizations hold the memory of the victims of January 20.
According to the Confederation's action plan, on 15 January 2016, meeting was held with the families of victims of the |January 20 tragedy, they were rendered financial assistance by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation. 112 victim families were given 100 AZN, in general financial assistance at the amount of 11200 AZN were paid.
At the same time problems of each victim families were heard and relevant measures were taken in order to solve their problems.
