International Youth Forum TEMP 2019 was held in Uzbekistan

From June 22 to 28 an international forum TEMP took place. The international TEMP Forms 2019, organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, together with social partners, played an important role in the communication and education of trade union youth from 20 countries of the world in which they received training and leadership schools.
The forum served to develop skills and understanding of
social problems, finding non-standard ways to solve them. The forum
participants noted that work with young people should become the core direction
of the personnel policy and organizational movement.
Based on the results of meetings, round tables and
country situations, the participants of the Tashkent International Forum TEMP
2019 recommend governments to develop and implement government programs that
aim to provide youth employment, support in implementing youth business
initiatives. Also encourage employers to invest in education and training.
giving young people skills that meet the requirements of the labor market,
increase the amount of investment s in the production and improve the
inclusiveness of labor markets, to create an integrated database of job
openings for young people on the basis of introduction of modern forms of
social partnership.
With regard to the further improvement of the trade
unions' youth policy, recommendations were also put forward as to attract trade
unionists from among students of students and working young people to prepare
youth sections for sectoral agreements and collective agreements. It was noted
to track the professional development of graduates of higher and secondary
educational institutions from their first place of work for possible
involvement in trade union life. Thanks to this forum, the participants got
acquainted with the mechanisms for implementing the state policy of Uzbekistan
on working with young people, social protection activities, national products
produced at enterprises occupying an important role in the economic development
of the republic, and also exchanged experiences between the invited countries.
