Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, According to the initiative, a blood donation campaign was organized by Baku Metropolitan CJSC and the Metropolitan Workers' Trade Union.
Each donor was examined by hematologists
of the professional medical brigade of the Central Blood Bank, blood samples
were taken from them and an opinion was given on joining the action. Blood was
taken from 64 donors during the action.
Medical experts told the protesters about
the purpose of voluntary blood donation for those suffering from blood
diseases, said that such an action is an expression of kindness, as well as the
importance of blood donation for human health.
