The 5th congress of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs was held

The
5 th Congress of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers')
Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (AEC) was held on December 19.
Prior to
the event, the participants visited the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev
at the Alley of Honor and commemorated his memory and laid a wreath at his monument.
Participants of the congress, who attended the
Alley of Martyrs, commemorated the memory of our heroes who died for the
independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and laid a wreath at the
monument to "Eternal Torch".
Then ASK
President Mammad Musayev announced the congress and the Congress started its
work with the national anthem of Azerbaijan.
Minister
of Economy Shahin Mustafayev read a congratulatory letter to President Ilham
Aliyev's congressmen.
The Minister noted that the President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan has always been in the forefront of supporting the
development of entrepreneurship, which is the leading force in the economy, and
is dedicated to increasing production and exports in the non-oil sector,
developing entrepreneurship, improving business and investment environment,
developing state-entrepreneurial relations, important measures were taken in
the direction of creation. It was noted that entrepreneurial crediting of
investment projects on preferential terms as part of the state support system
for entrepreneurship, establishment of industrial parks and neighborhoods,
agro-parks, business incubators, organization of export missions and other
measures is important for ensuring sustainable development of entrepreneurship
in the country and increasing private sector's share in the economy plays crucial
role. As a result of purposeful measures, the share of the private sector has
increased to 84% of GDP and 76% to employment.
