Assistance was provided to low-income employees of government agencies

Ministries, committees and other central bodies of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Public Administration and Public Service Workers are closely involved in the activities of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
The Republican Committee decided to
distribute food aid to trade union members and low-income families in need of
special assistance and care at the expense of its budget. For this purpose, the
distribution of food gifts to more than 400 low-income families living in Baku
and a number of cities and regions of the country has begun.
From May 7, the staff of the Republican
Committee has completed the delivery of food packages to needy families living
in Baku. At present, the staff of the Republican Committee has been sent to the
regions and remote villages to deliver food packages to citizens.
The Republican Committee will continue
to provide material and moral assistance in the context of the coronavirus
pandemic.
