On November 12, at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations of Azerbaijan was held the student scientific-practical conference “Strategic directions of state and municipal government” dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The
conference was held with the participation of the faculty, students and invited
guests
Opening
the event, the vice-rector for academic and scientific work of the Academy, PhD
in Economics, Farhad Mehbaliyev noted that the principles reflected in the
Constitutional Law “On the State Independence of the Azerbaijan Republic”
ensure democratic rights and freedom of all citizens regardless of ethnic,
religious or political affiliation.

pointed out the idea of the President of the Republic, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, “We
must turn our material values, economic potential into human capital”
He also pointed
out that the future development of the country depends on young people, and in
this respect the role of education in shaping future generations is
indisputable.
He said that today we have very talented and
broad youth who are trying to further strengthen independent Azerbaijan. We
hope that the youth will not forget about our historical, national and
spiritual values and will do everything possible to increase the prestige of
our country on the world stage.

Vilayat Ismayilov spoke about the attentiveness paid to student research. We
say that our students are helped by our staff in preparing speeches on various
strategic directions of state and municipal government. They were given the
direction to work more accurately and scientifically.
The
reports of students participating in the scientific-practical conference were
heard.
Then the
conference continued its work in separate sections.
At the
end of the conference, the Special Evaluation Commission evaluated the selected
papers and presented certificates to the speakers.
