Discovering and developing the creative potential of people working in education plays a special role in the activities of trade unions.

The 8th Engineering and Science Education Conference, jointly organized by the Eurasian Trade Union International Trade Unions and Turkish Education Association, was held on 8-9 November in Antalya, Turkey. The conference was opened by Talib Ceylan, the General Chairman of both agencies. He spoke about the attention paid by member organizations to science, especially the trade union activities to encourage young scholars. He noted that these measures were successful. He confidently said that at this conference, we will also see the presentation of worthy, rich scientific works.
Then the floor was given to Mirza Jafarzade, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan. He conveyed greetings to the participants of the event by the Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, Member of the Parliament, Vice-President of the Confederation of International Trade Unions Sattar Mohbaliyev. He said that Azerbaijan and Turkey have extensive political, economic and cultural ties.
Thousands of Azerbaijani art, science, education, and health workers are working in Turkey with a great deal of Turkish brothers and sisters in Azerbaijan. They use their knowledge and skills in the development of our countries.
 M. Jafarzadeh said that based on the successes of both countries, scientific progress, high-tech knowledge, the ability to create and use modern technology are essential.
 "That is why the conference we attend is of great importance," he said.
  During the two-day conference, 450 scientific papers were heard in the groups, including the article of the chairman of the trade union committee of the Azerbaijan Technical University Akif Jahangirov.
  Then participants were given certificates.
 On November 9 M. Jafarzadeh made a speech on TRT radio, answering reporters' questions about the conference.
