Labor inspectors duties are discussed

On September 14, the Hyatt Regency Hotel hosted a training seminar on "Enhancing the role of trade unions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in implementing measures aimed at ensuring a normal level of labor protection in the workplace" for technical inspectors of trade unions of the International Labor Organization.
The seminar was devoted to the
creation of safe working conditions in the workplace, employment, effective
social dialogue, gender equality and discrimination, and provided information
and recommendations on relevant plans and strategies.
Vice Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions
of Azerbaijan Javanshir Alkhasov said at the seminar that the training
organized by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and the International
Labor Organization supported the protection of the rights and interests of
workers, creating decent jobs, increasing the effectiveness of social dialogue,
gender equality and the workplace in order to further expand knowledge labor
inspectors in the field of discrimination.
