On February 19, the Gender School of the Center for Gender Equality and Women's Issues of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation held a webinar on "Implementation of awareness-raising among young workers by trade union committees during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic."

Opening the event, the chairman of the Center J. Sattarova first spoke about the martyr of the Great Patriotic War, military serviceman Aresta Bakhishova. The memory of our hero, who was killed in the battles for the freedom of Gubadli while removing wounded servicemen from the battlefield, was commemorated with deep respect. N. Huseynov, Head of the ATUC Analytical Research Department on Cultural and Social Problems of Workers, M. Jafarzadeh, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Educators, spoke about the activities of the Youth Councils during the pandemic, the first trade union on youth work. They talked about holding a republican review competition for the title of "Organization", the establishment of the honorary title of "Professional Youth of the Year", measures aimed at improving the welfare of young workers. They gave detailed information about the training and professional development of young people, the role of trade unions in the military-patriotic education of young people, the fight against drugs to protect the health of young people and other awareness-raising activities.
