The delegation of All-Poland Alliance of Trade Unions – OPZZ was hosted by Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation

On the 1st of August, 2017 the chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, Member of Parliament Sattar Mohbaliyev received the delegation headed by the chairman of All-Poland Alliance of Trade Unions Jan Gust.
Talking about the bilateral relations
between two countries and people the chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions
Confederation added that the root of this relation dated back the last century.
National Leader of Azerbaijan paid a visit to Poland in 1997, thus he
established brotherhood and friendship ties between Azerbaijani and Polish
people. The chairman said that Poland became one of the first countries that
recognized independence of Azerbaijan and also added that nowadays, relation between
two countries is on high level.
S. Mohbaliyev recalled that President of
the Azerbaijan Republic visited to Poland in 2005 and the chairman as a member of
Inter-parliamentary commission was also participated.
The
chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation highly appreciated a position
of Poland and its support in Nagorni Karabakh conflict.
