Winners of the Republican review-competition "The best enterprise (organization) of the year for the creation of healthy and safe working conditions" are awarded

15 enterprises included in the service of the Federation of Trade Unions "Service-Work" took part in the Republican review-competition held in 2019 under the motto "The best enterprise (organization) of the year for the creation of healthy and safe working conditions."
During
the competition, members of the Federation's technical labor inspector and
labor protection commission visited these enterprises, inquired about the
situation and got acquainted with the materials. At the end of the year, the 4
best companies were selected to be named winners. The documents were submitted
to the ATUC Executive Committee for discussion.
While
reviewing the documents submitted to the competition, the Executive Committee
took into account the absence of accidents at the enterprise, the scope and
specificity of the section on labor protection in collective agreements, the
amount and direction of funds allocated for safe working conditions and other
important issues. The performance of four companies fully met these
requirements. The documents show that the working conditions of about 800
employees have been improved and safe work has been provided in 4 enterprises
awarded the title of winner. To this end, enterprises and organizations have
spent at least 2% of the annual salary fund in accordance with the requirements
of Article 220 of the Labor Code. The HCCs of the winning enterprises included
important issues of labor protection in their work plans. At the end of the
year, an inspection was conducted at the enterprise, the results of which were
discussed at a large meeting with the participation of representatives of
employers. Staff members of the Federation and members of the Assembly also
took part in the events initiated by the international trade union movement
under the slogan "Decent work - the way to a fair social economy."
They gave lectures, gave relevant advice and recommendations. The chairman and
activists of the first trade union organizations were also involved in the
seminars on improving labor protection, the vocational education system among
young people and women, and the protection of workers' labor rights.
On
December 11, the winners of the competition in the Federation - "Carlsberg
Azerbaijan" LLC (director Byacheslav Maltsev, HIC chairman Tural
Niftaliyev), "Azpetrol LTD" LLC "Sumgayit 2" gas station
(director Alisher Guliyev, HIC chairman Sabir Mammadov), Azerbaijan The State
Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan presented ATUC diplomas and
valuable gifts to 17 representatives of Baku Tourism Vocational School Public
Legal Entity (director Neylufar Karimova, HIC chairman Zohrab Aliyev), Saloglu
Gazakh branch (director Zaur Ahmadov, HIC chairman Fuad Ibrahimov) has been
done.
