Significant steps have been taken to improve the use of trade unions and to enhance the solidarity of trade unions. In this regard, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, we highly appreciate the important role of PERC representing the interests of trade unions of the member countries. We agree with the General Assembly to approve any amendments or additions designed to be included in the Disagreement of the Regional Council. We also declare our agreement with the Concept of "Political Orientation and Profile of the PERC Activities for 2020-2023" submitted to the General Assembly for discussion. As we know, one of the key priorities in this concept is to ensure greater involvement of member organizations in the Council's activities, as well as joint discussions of both regional and western regional organizations.
We particularly note that the Pan European Regional Council, together with the CRC, focuses on working with young workers, their involvement in trade unions, and their active participation at all levels of trade union activities. The Council is focused on motivation, gender work. It is necessary to continue the practice of organization seminars and conferences during the reporting period using the experience of PERC specialists. In the past reporting period, the ATUC representatives participated in 33 PERC events. Three awareness-raising trainings were held in Baku. In 2016, "New Employment Forms", "Main directions of trade unions on occupational safety, occupational safety, environmental risks and threats" jointly with the ATUC's PSC Youth Committee in 2017, "Youth Employment and Labor Sphere ”. I think that the role of the CRC and Pars in organizing trade union education should be further enhanced. We ask that this provision be included in the Program document of the 4th General Assembly.

The ATUC has its own conception in the implementation of government programs. As part of the implementation of this Concept, the Republican Trilateral Commission on Social and Economic Affairs was established with the active support of the International Labor Organization.

Although we have many problems in this regard and we need the help of international organizations. The multidimensional work of the Pan European Regional Council is of great importance today.
