The Trade Unions of Water Economy Workers of Azerbaijan Republic
AKIF MAMMADOV
He was born in 1957. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil-Industry Construction of Azerbaijan State Institute of Construction Engineers in 1983.He started as a technician in Baku Sewerage Department in 1975, worked as an engineer, an executioner and a head of United Committee of Trade Unions and as a Senior Engineer till 2006.
He was elected as Chairman of The Trade Unions of Water Economy Workers of Azerbaijan Republic in 2006. He is a member of Assembly and the Executive committee of ATUC.
In 2007, he was awarded with “100th anniversary” medal of Trade Union and “Progress” medal of the President of Azerbaijan Republic for his activity conducted and the achievements he made in this field.
He was also conferred with diplomas and certificates of Trade Unions of some foreign countries for the relations of work and friendship he built for the development of this field.
According
to the order dated 21.10.2015 Akif Musa oglu Mammadov was awarded with “the
honored Worker of Culture” title.
He is married and has 4 children.
