Important factors in the development of tourism should be considered

The round table under the motto "Development strategy of tourism in the concept of development" Azerbaijan 2020: Look into the future dedicated to the World Tourism Day was held by the initiative of the Youth Council of " Khidmat-Ish" Trade Unions Federation.
The vice-president of the Federation,
Jamaladdin Ismayilov, said that the UN World Tourism Organization's World
Tourism Day was aimed at promoting tourism, its social and cultural heritage,
creating close contacts between people of different countries.
Since 2001 it is a member of the
International Tourism Organization of Azerbaijan. It is celebrated as a
professional holiday of employees of all tourism companies working in the
field, museum staff, hotel complex managers and staff. Our country has rich
opportunities for the development of tourism. As a result, 1,700,000 tourists
came to our republic during 7 months of this year.
The concept of development of
"Azerbaijan 2020: Looking to the Future" also reflects the relevant
goals and objectives of tourism development in the country. This concept will
make a great contribution to the future employment of young cadres.
The head of the department of marketing
and tourism service of Azerbaijan University of Cooperatives, associate
professor Gulnisa Mustafayeva noted that in order to achieve the development of
tourism it is necessary to work in the fields, which meets world standards.
The importance of developing tourism and
increasing the number of professional staff requires them to take on theoretical
knowledge, as well as to practice in tourism companies and hotels. Jayhun
Ashurov, head of the New Baku hotel and the head of the "Skut" unit,
Alikhan Murvatov, director of the Baku Tourism Excursion LLC, suggested that a
contract should be signed between the employer and the educational institution
to practice with the hotels, creating a joint database of the Trade Union with
the Travel Agency it is also necessary.
