A trilateral commission meeting was held

On February 12, the Commission for Social and Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population (MLSPP), the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations (NCEO) and the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan (ATUC) held the next meeting.
The agenda of the first meeting of the
Trilateral Commission in 2019 is dedicated to the discussion of the work plan
for 2019. Considering the proposals of the parties to the work plan, 18 issues
were raised. During the discussions, members of the commission expressed their
positions regarding the separate items of the work plan and made some changes.
At the meeting, it was decided to discuss issues considered in the work plan on
a calendar plan within a year, as well as a number of similar items. According
to the work plan, it is envisaged to draft a number of legislative acts in the
social and economic sphere, to organize their discussion and to coordinate
positions on these documents. The work plan was also discussed by the
government and social partners during the year to discuss the 100th anniversary
of the International Labor Organization.
Implementation of the Decree of the
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Implementation of the Law of 816-IVQ
of 22 November 2013 on "Public Participation" was taken up and the
positions of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs and its business associations
were brought to the attention of the government and trade unions.
